Carl was made Managing Director of Pillar Software Ltd. in April 2017, having previously been the company's Executive Director since 2013.
He has worked for us since 1997 and was made a partner in the business in 2015.
In 2018 Carl was a finalist in the UK Employee Ownership Awards in the category of 'Employee Owner of the Year'.
His background is in the consultancy, design, development and sales team, but over his 20 years in the company has spent time in all aspects of the business.
He believes strongly in success through collaboration and creativity.
Carl also sits on the Board of Trustees of Pillar Software EOT Ltd.
He loves living at the edge of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean with his partner Laura and their two children. Carl is an FA Wales accredited coach for
the Chepstow Garden City Greens JFC under 13 squad and also plays in the Forest of Dean Ultimate Frisbee team. Along with other office-based work, Carl ran a record shop in the early 1990's
and even spent a short period in the Parachute Regiment in 1986/87. His favourite book is 'All Quiet on the Orient Express' by Magnus Mills
and his favourite movie is 'Etre et Avoir'. He's interested in brutalist architecture and the painting of Andrew Wyeth and LS Lowry. His favourite
tv show is currently Stranger Things.
